Logging In

Logging In

Section titled “Logging In”

Learn how to access your EMIS account and get started.

Access URL

Section titled “Access URL”

Visit the EMIS portal at:

https://admin-emis.systems.gov.bt

First Time Login

Section titled “First Time Login”

1. Receive Your Credentials

Section titled “1. Receive Your Credentials”

Your system administrator will provide:

  • Username or email address
  • Temporary password

2. Navigate to Login Page

Open your web browser and go to the EMIS URL.

3. Enter Credentials

Section titled “3. Enter Credentials”
  • Enter your username/email
  • Enter your temporary password
  • Click Sign In

4. Change Your Password

Section titled “4. Change Your Password”

On first login, you’ll be prompted to:

  • Enter your temporary password
  • Create a new secure password
  • Confirm your new password

Password Requirements

Section titled “Password Requirements”

Your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Contain uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character (@, #, $, etc.)

Subsequent Logins

Section titled “Subsequent Logins”
  1. Go to the EMIS URL
  2. Enter your username/email
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click Sign In

Forgot Password?

Section titled “Forgot Password?”

If you forget your password:

  1. Click Forgot Password? on the login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for reset instructions
  4. Click the reset link (valid for 24 hours)
  5. Create a new password

Troubleshooting

Cannot Login

Section titled “Cannot Login”

Issue: Invalid username or password

Solutions:

  • Verify your username/email is correct
  • Check Caps Lock is off
  • Try resetting your password
  • Contact your system administrator

Account Locked

Section titled “Account Locked”

Issue: Too many failed login attempts

Solutions:

  • Wait 30 minutes for automatic unlock
  • Contact your system administrator for immediate unlock

Password Reset Email Not Received

Section titled “Password Reset Email Not Received”

Solutions:

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify email address is correct
  • Wait a few minutes and try again
  • Contact your system administrator

Security Tips

Section titled “Security Tips”
  • Never share your password
  • Use a unique password for EMIS
  • Log out when finished
  • Don’t leave your session unattended
  • Report suspicious activity immediately

EMIS works best with:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari

Minimum Requirements:

  • JavaScript enabled
  • Cookies enabled
  • Internet connection
